chrisbekas.com

I registered the domain ‘chrisbekas.com’ the other day; the plan is to move this blog to that domain at some stage (hmmm, have to find out how to move the blog - maybe an export - from Movabletype. I registered with 34SP (my current host) and the cool thing about that is that the domain is automaticaly add to 34SP’s DNS servers so all I need to do is activate my account.

Not enough fans

I must admit; when your PC already sounds like a fleet of Black Hawk helicopters taking off, the last thing you need is more fans. However, the continuous obsession with heat prevails in the end… so I ordered a Vantec Iceberq chipset cooler for the Northbridge and a Zalman heatsink for the southbridge (they both get very hot, but only the Northbridge has a crappy heatsink but no fan).

I also ordered some Arctic Alumina thermal epoxy to keep things together. Bought all of these from below-0, through express post, and I had them in my hands the very next day.

Outlook Connector for Domino

Is this Microsoft’s answer to iNotes Access for Microsoft Outlook? The Microsoft Outlook 2002 Connector enables Microsoft Outlook 2002 to access e-mail messages, calendar, address book, and To Do’s on Domino R5 (up to R5.0.11?). It seems that it was released a few days ago, but obviously not a big news item.
